AI & Safety Disclosure

You're using beta software
ReadyHelm is in active development. Features may change, break, or be temporarily unavailable, and your feedback directly shapes what we build next — please tell us when something's wrong or confusing.
AI-generated content is a starting point, not a verdict
ReadyHelm uses AI to help summarize maintenance history, suggest categorization, and surface possible issues or upcoming maintenance. This AI-generated content is informational only. It can be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong. It is never a substitute for inspection by a qualified marine technician, a certified marine surveyor, your vessel manufacturer's documentation, or applicable U.S. Coast Guard and local regulations.
Never rely on this app alone for safety-critical decisions
Before you go on the water, always independently verify anything safety-related — required safety equipment and its expiration, vessel seaworthiness, weather and float plans, and regulatory compliance. Do not treat a clean checklist, a high readiness score, or the absence of an AI-flagged issue in ReadyHelm as confirmation that your vessel is safe to operate. ReadyHelm is a record-keeping and reminder tool, not a safety certification.
Your data may be incomplete
Maintenance history in ReadyHelm is only as complete as what's been entered — by an owner, by a connected service provider, or by AI-assisted import. Gaps in history, missing prior owners' records, or unentered work are common, especially early on. Treat everything in the app as a helpful record, not a guaranteed complete one.
This applies to service providers too
If you're using the ReadyHelm Pro Portal, the same limits apply to any AI-assisted summaries, categorization, or suggestions you see there — verify before you act on them, especially anything safety- or compliance-related.
Acknowledgment
By continuing, you acknowledge that ReadyHelm is beta software, that AI-generated suggestions and summaries require independent verification, and that you will not rely on ReadyHelm alone for decisions affecting the safety of a vessel, its passengers, or others.
